Fallen

Fallen is my project for the rookies 2022 : 

In a world where only force is law, the "Lux Erit" impose their power. They consider themselves the only judges of the world: "the inquisitors". 

Those who repel them above all are the "Obumbratio", a race they consider wicked, malicious and barbaric.

 That’s what Karael’s been taught since birth, but her beliefs change when she meets Xell.

The Lux Erit :

For them, I wanted their eyes to be covered. They feeling superior, they want to show the other races that they don’t need their sight to see their deeds. And that they feel it directly through their soul. 

And they hate their eyes that are scarlet in colour, which for them is not a sign of purity.

The Obumbratio :

I decided to make a design completely opposite to the "Lux". Dark/Cosmic skin, dark's clothes, pastel's colors for the eyes. However, their hair is white for a simple reason of graphic visibility.

Xell :

Originally, he comes from peaceful people, but when the Lux Erit decided to hunt them one by one, they decided to use their abilities to fight back. Xell releases his power though his spear "Cosmos". A ball of concentrated energy at the tip of his weapon.

Karael & superiors :

Karael gets to know Xell over time and understands that they are far from being the evil ones described...
