I am Gnomon - School of Visual Effects student studying 3d and specializing in Effect for Films. I'm in the beginning of my journey into CG world, but still have some works to share. Happy to be able to participate in the annual Rookie of The Year contest.
Rookie For Fun
I did this piece in my Texturing&Shading 2 class I took at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation. This was my first time using Substance Painter. Experimented with Redshift environmental fog and XGen Simulation. Could not fix the noise, so added it to the whole image 🤪. Well, I guess that shows that I have a lot to learn in rendering my scenes. Still had a lot of fun with this project!
Responsible for texturing, XGen simulation and lighting. Car model was provided by course instructor Christophe Desse windmill and fence were downloaded from CGTrader.
Second work I made in Texturing&Shading 2 class. The Spider Vehicle was based on concept art by Darren Bartley. 3d model was made in Hard Surface Modeling 1 class and then textured and polished in Texturing & Shading 2 class. Environment and The Warrior were downloaded from CGTrader and Mixamo. I've attached concept art and turntable below.
