Roto_Shan Lugisto

Hi, I'm Shan. I'm now studying VFX Compositing at Media Design School (NZ) and will graduate at the end of this year. When I wasn't working on school assignments(TP1), I did this roto project for roughly three hours per day for a week. I know the work I submitted isn't varied enough, only simple roto, tracking, and colour grading.  I just want to submit something before I graduate.

When I looked for a plate, I wanted something that couldn't be done in CopyCat. So I went looking for a video with a foreground that had the same colour as the background with a lot of motion blur.

I'm hoping this will be my final year entering the contest; if not, I'll be back next year with more piece of works :)
