"Two puppets wake up in an abandoned toy shop. One can hear but cannot see, the other sees but cannot hear.
As they walk through the mysterious rooms of this place, they will have to cooperate to solve the puzzles and lift the veil on their enigmatic origin."
"Dive into an immersive narrative experience offering two different but complementary worldviews.
Find answers to your questions by solving puzzles together using visual and audio cues. Each puzzle delivers a part of the story represented through each act of the Dolls' Theatre"

Character Design
In order to fit our location choice, an old toy shop, we imagined two unfinished wooden puppets for the players. Ball-jointed dolls inspire the characters' designs with traditional costumes from Alsace (France). We also added mechanisms like the winding key or the articulated arm in the back to remind the twins aren’t real children and were handmade by their creators.

3D Environment & Lighting
For the environment, our main inspiration is Alsace, a French region known for its wooden doll-like houses.
The furniture is decorated with floral patterns, inspired by Alsacian and nordic folk furniture.
There are three different rooms: the toy shop, the theater, and the workshop.
Concerning lighting, we wanted to give the player a cozy mood in the workshop and in the toy shop. The theater makes a contrast: tones are colder like a magical starry night.
