Converse Shoe

This project was used to learn projection painting in Mari for an organic prop. I really wanted to convey the story of the sneaker through the wear and tear sustained by the shoe. I was responsible for all texturing, look development, lighting, and render.

This was my first project in 3D and I mainly picked the concept due to its focus on lighting and texturing. It was also really fun to work on the different materials present in the concept. Due to time constraint to finish the project in 4 weeks, I ended up using Houdini to procedurally generate the bricks to build the wall behind the character.
