Tifenn TERESE - 3D Modeler/Texture Artiste
Focused on 3D character art, my last year's projects, and a few thoughts on what I've been through to find my last job. Thanks, everyone for sharing your inspiring works!
These two characters were the main personal projects I realized in 2021. After a year of challenges, and efforts they permitted me to get into the 3D Industry. First as a Freelance Character Artist in November, and now as a Modeler/Texture Artist at ICON Creative Studio (Vancouver). Now, I can look at the accomplishments behind me, and have trust in my journey. Even if it can be discouraging, especially to put the first step into the professional world, being regular, disciplined, and working smart always lead to success. Taking each step as a great opportunity to learn from ourselves, and enjoy the process even in difficulties, gave us more confidence and skills.
Papi basket
This grumpy Papi is based on a concept by Boren Wei Lian. He's a challenger and a cool buddy. Even though, he has been the most interesting character I worked on as a personal project
Softwares : Maya, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Mari, Photoshop, and Arnold.
On my way as a 3D Artist, I'd like to mention how much reading and exercising give me strength. Opening the mind and being able to let go on a regular basis play a great part in being mentally and physically healthy and still enjoying 3D as a work.
SuperGirl
This SuperGirl is based on an original design by Serge Birault.
Softwares : Maya, Zbrush, Mari, Photoshop, and Arnold.
Even if I look at these projects from a different perspective now, technically and artistically, I'm aware of the path traveled and all the ups and downs endured.
Keep learning, keep being consistent, 1% better each day and in a year you'll be more than 300% of your current level!
