Workplace Design: Gucci Office

The Brief

To design an office space 4000-5000 sqft for Gucci in Level 20, Block B4, Leisure Commerce Square, 46150, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

Brand Brief

Gucci is an Italian high-end luxury fashion house based in Florence, Italy. Its product lines include handbags, ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories, makeup, fragrances, and home decoration. Gucci was founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci in Florence, Tuscany. The office design mostly known for straight and clean lines, with barely any use of curves or shape details. Gucci make a simple geometric shapes and sleek designs.

Site Diagrams

The site is located the office building. It is since was easily accessible by guest and staffs around. The Gucci Office design will attract more visitors. The site is currently used as an open space office department and cafeteria. In front it is a parking space and building where workers and colleague have their workplace. Also there are nearby public transport networks such as the BRT-Sunway Line (Bus Rapid Transit) in full commencement for guest visitors can find their journey to the creative academy a bliss.

The BRT-Sunway Line in place, you can now expect easy accessibility to the main campus and save on travelling time, without the threat of the usual heavy traffic crawling in the city especially during peak hours.

Concept Sketches

The title I chosen combined ideas with keyword & characterise of the Gucci which spiral, curves are used primarily to between curve-line and turning motion. As Gucci is a fashion & accessories company is like a Gucci double gg logo full of curve, spiral and abstract represent which composed of two linear strands that run opposite to each other and twist together.

Concept Model

The concept shows keyword Fashion and the design elements of curve, spiral and abstract shape to the design that looks feel inspired motion.

Reception

When the visitors first come in, they will see the reception counter. It has a clean and luxury design that uses marble light gray counter. The stainless steel should be concept colour red and green is designed to be connected to the reception counter.

Waiting Area

When the visitors and colleague are an important part of any partner business. They provide a space for clients to organise their thoughts, get forms and documents together, and get a feel for who you are and organisation does while they wait for you to see them. Whether they’re a candidate about to be interviewed, while waiting room or reception area is the first part of department office. These office reception ideas are perfect to create a comfortable, friendly space that makes the right first impression on your visitors and guests.

Hallway

When the guest and staff walkway office design be straight out as double-loaded, where they provide entry into spaces on both sides, or single-loaded, the entry points are condensed to just one side. Hallways are characteristically narrow and long with glass wall.

Lounge Area

A well-designed space filled with items you love can be calming and relieve stress, while cluttered rooms can have the opposite effect on your mood and mental health. When they may break off into smaller groups to work on a project and, eventually, work solo for a while before taking a lunch break in lounge area.

The workers are touching down, team meeting, small group activity, and solo work. To design the office space that satisfies the unique needs of teamwork.

Meeting Room

There are one meeting rooms at the co-working space that is completed with the facility needed for users to use when they have presentation and discussion. This room can be used up to 10 people. The design is simple and minimalist to give more space for people to circulate.

Cafeteria

There is a few types of seating that can be used by the visitors and workers, such as the dining seating, island table, and indoor seating. For the bar table, there is an island bar and a bar that faces indoor, so the users can see the view of city from outside when they are sitting here.
