In this project I used Revit, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, Unreal Engine and Premiere Pro. Scroll down to see the process from sketches in Revit to real time graphics in Unreal engine.

Round of applause for our sponsors

I started this project hoping to learn more about building houses in Revit. I dedicated two weeks to sketch up two different houses with different styles but with the same base walls. By changing both the exterior and interior I created one classic Swedish villa made of wood and one modern villa made of concrete.

When I felt ready in Revit I chose to continue working with the classic villa in 3Ds Max. I worked with the materials and gave life to the house by adding some interior. I also chose to make a winter rendering after that I heard that it can be a little tricky. The whole project was a great knowledge. For the post production I used Photoshop.

I also chose to do a Christmas rendering from one of the rooms inside the house. I used this image to wish my followers on Instagram Merry Christmas.

Later I used this project for an Unreal Engine course in school. We learned how to build up a scene with 3d-models, lightning and cameras. We also learned about blueprinting and how to cut cameras into short clips. I wanted to use the clip to show how you can decorate the house. This is a great help when you are choosing furniture for your house.

The result of that clip is what you can see down below.
