Character Art for Games - 2021
Hello! I'm Sain-Sain from Canada. Here are two real-time characters "Royal Guard of the Joseon Dynasty" and "Two Swords". These two projects were created in 2021 to learn game-ready character creation at Think Tank online. Hope you'll enjoy it!
Royal Guard of the Joseon Dynasty
It was my first real-time character done for my 6-weeks intermediate final. She's based on the beautiful concept by Choong Yeol Lee.
The goal of this project was to learn the full game character pipeline, head sculpting, skin texturing and garment creation.
(Sculpt in Zbrush, garments made in Marvelous Designer, game mesh and UVs in Maya, baked and textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4)
Two Swords
This second game character is a 10-weeks project for my advance term final at Think Tank Online. She is based on the concept 'Two Swords' by Sora kim.
My main goal for this project was to learn hair cards creation and rendering in Unreal engine.
(Sculpt in Zbrush, garments made in Marvelous Designer, game mesh and UVs in Maya, baked in Marmoset Toolbag 4, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Unreal Engine 4)
