Hi there! These are the works I did over the past year at Sheridan College, VFX program. It has been a tough year with the pandemic and remote learning. I hope I have reached the standard to join the industry.
Float Bike Object Tracking
The bike tracked with PFTracks; Merged panorama HDRI use mirror ball photos in Nuke; Bike modeled in Maya; Textured in Substance Painter; Particle and custom Pyro simulated in Houdini; Rendered with Redshift; Rotoed the character in Nuke; Comped multi-pass renders in Nuke; Created heat distortion in Nuke.
Robot Factory Matte Painting
Background photo by Claudio Schwarz on Unsplash; Created the 3D scene base on background photo in Maya; Modeled the robot body in Maya; Textured in Substance Painter; Particle and Pyro simulation in Houdini; Projected the photo on the 3D scene both in Maya and in Nuke; Create the camera movement in Nuke; Lighted and Rendered with Redshift in Maya and Houdini; Roto and keyed the character in Nuke; Comped all elements in Nuke.
Ghost on the wall Camera Tracking
Camera motion tracked with Nuke; Scene recreated in Maya; Merged panorama HDRI use mirror ball photos in Nuke; Human body modeled, rigged and animated in Maya; Vellum cloth and flip simulation in Houdini; Lighted and Rendered with Redshift in Houdini; Comped in Nuke; Integrated CG elements into live-action footage.
Destruction
Recreated set, projected textures; Camera tracked with PFTracks; Merged panorama HDRI use 3 bracket photos with Hugin; Modeled, rigged, and animated robot hand in Maya. RBD, Constrains, particles and Pyro simulated in Houdini; Rendered with Redshift in Houdini; Comped multi-pass renders in Nuke. Integrated CG elements into live-action footage.
