United StatesI definitely know I want to get into the 3D character design field, but I have yet to choose a specialization.
I have been sketching and animating since I was a child. It started with simple, crude drawings of dinosaurs or whatever I thought was "cool" in my formative years. As I progressed in life, my sketching skills improved, and I discovered 2D animation. In high school, after years of doing 2D work, I wanted to try adapting my work into 3D. My 3D work was just a hobby until I got into my second year of college, when I finally decided this is what I want to do for a living.
