I first realized game art could be a profession after coming to RCAD as an illustration student. Learning more about the major, I thought of it as a possible future career path for myself. During this time I played Layers of Fear, which had a huge impact on me making my decision of changing majors. Seeing how it was possible to tell a story through the environment and player experience, helped show me the direction I wanted to take my art.
