Danée Anthonijsz

I aspire to make short documentaries and fiction films, using experimental illustration and animation while also using a live-action film.

I'm a 23-year-old Dutch artist whose passion lies in the exploration of human complexity and vulnerability. With a focus on personal and intimate storytelling, I try to capture the authentic emotions and moments that define our humanity in order to evoke introspection. Drawing inspiration from my background in Audiovisual Media and my current studies in Illustration at HKU, I bring a distinct approach to visual storytelling with a strong interest in analogue work and printing techniques.
