I would love to be a character designer/prop designer for animated movies/games.

It was fate. I was a Bio Math student in school but for my bachelor's, I somehow ended up doing Fine Arts. I don't know how it worked out, but it did. Good for me! Studying Fine Arts helped me understand what I wanted to do and solidified my passion for the arts and art jobs.
