RESTAURANT DESIGN
As a student at the One Academy, this is a restaurant design where I work.
MUJŌ IS AN INTIMATE MODERN EDOMAE-STYLE SUSHI-YA LED BY EXECUTIVE CHEF J. TRENT HARRIS. WE ARE INSPIRED BY THE JAPANESE CONCEPT OF ICHI-GO ICHI-E , 一期一会, OR "ONE TIME, ONE MEETING." OUR GOAL IS NOT TO RECREATE THE SUSHIYA OF JAPAN, BUT TO CREATE AN EXPERIENCE THAT REPRESENTS WHO AND WHERE WE ARE, WHILE RESPECTING AND HONORING THE TRADITIONS OF EDOMAE SUSHI.

DESIGN CONCEPT
Harmonious Flow: Exploring the Zen Circle and Calming Candle Design
In the realm of interior design, the essence of Zen, calmness, and ripple elegance converge to create spaces that exude tranquility and harmony. By embracing a minimalist approach and cultivating a sense of simplicity, I curate environments that promote a serene atmosphere, where each element finds its purpose and contributes to the overall balance.
Zen is my keyword, the Zen Circle as a source of inspiration. It is usually drawn with one stroke and is a simple hand-drawn circle, which is often incomplete or imperfect. Therefore, there are certain laws and irregularities in my design.
The second keyword is calmness. For this, I thought of melted wax and flow, which also represents a slow pace and simplicity.
The last keyword is an ripple. I used water dripping ripples to lay out the layout of this plan.
