(School project) Creation of a visual campaign for Tisséo as part of the fight against sexist harassment on public transport in Toulouse. This project included the creation of a triptych of posters.

Development of 3 axes of non-figurative representations of gender-based violence and its consequences for victims.

The invisible scars axis

Finalization axis scars

For this axis, I wanted to make visible the psycological wounds that are in themselves invisible. In doing so, I want to help people understand the impact of insults and verbal aggression.

The final poster is made with a photo of a paper bas-relief.

The choice of black and white as the color palette aims to create a solemn atmosphere as well as a form of intimacy.

The absence of color also reflects the sense of loneliness felt by victims after an attack.

the tear axis

Finalization tear axis

Dans cet axe, j'utilise le tissu. C'est un médium qui rappelle directement l'humain. Pour chacun, il représente notre dernier rempart entre le corps et le monde extérieur.

I used various methods to damage the fabric. I chose either to burn it or to fray it. The destruction of the fabric symbolizes the assault on our intimacy, our personal space.

The final composition is based on a close-up photo of frayed fabric. As with the previous poster, black and white is retained to create a harmonious triptych. The sense of emptiness evoked by this choice is consistent with the triptych as a whole, and in keeping with our subject.

the impact axis

Finalization impact axis

For the third poster, I created a number of illustrations depicting an impact in a window.

I used different mediums, such as pencil for its textured aspect, and ink for the intensity of the black and the notion of flow. This illustration is not intended to be purely figurative, but rather to evoke the sensation of an impact, a hole or even a dead flower crumbling in the wind. This composition is guided by a diagonal line of force. The viewer's gaze is first drawn to the illustration, then to the text, then back to the illustration. This to-and-fro allows the reader to first interpret the illustration and then, once the text has been read, to understand its real meaning.

The composition, with a lot of empty space and the absence of color, gives a dramatic, touching and poetic aspect to this last poster, while at the same time having a clear meaning.
