Idea sketch:

Kim possible is one of my favourite childhood cartoon show, so I have immediately thought of referencing  Kim Possible intro as my showreel idea.

Animation:

playblast in maya

Blender:

After completing the animation in Maya, upon reviewing the playblast, I sensed that something was lacking. Having seen numerous Spiderverse fanart created in Blender, I turned to YouTube to find a tutorial that suited my needs. But first, I needed to import my Maya animation into my Blender project.

I used Alembic Cache to bring my maya animation to blender, it was fast and easy by watching this tutorial from youtube:  https://youtu.be/ckjpijPwwu8?si=SVOHXshEE_9aSa2M

Shader:

So the main point of me bringing my animation from Maya to Blender is to attempt recreating something alike to Spiderverse (atleast a little... i guess). After watching numerous online tutorials, I selected the most relevant techniques for my project. Here are the results:

Render:

Another reason for utilizing Blender is its renderer, Cycles, which offers faster rendering speeds and maintains high-quality results. Here are the result:

Thanks for watching!
