A New Year's Murder (Version 1)

This is the first version of a group project that I made with four fellow students. We decided to work on an outdoor environment set in London during the Industrial Revolution. We used the characters of Sherlock Holmes and Watson to set the scene for murder; various clues can be found in the shot, including articles in Watson's journal describing incidents and characters that are mentioned in the books. Here we attempted to use volumetrics to achieve the typical English fog, and it was a struggle to get the lights to work in the alley. Further attempts will be made to improve the scene, including adding transparency and curtains to the windows, lights to the lampposts, and to make the street appear more busy.
