The Headless Gourdsman

This piece is based on an amazing illustration done by John Loren. We did it as a collaboration with my amazing boyfriend Adrian Horodyski. 

All elements are 3D, painted brush strokes or clouds are planes. For the hair, we used a blender's grease pencil, then we animated it along with some other objects. In the end, we added some spooky music and rendered a little clip.
