The Otter Knight + Short Breakdown

The Otter Knight - A mighty warrior who roams the roads searching for beasts in the forest. Why wouldn't an otter be a mighty warrior? The premise of this project was simple, what if Geralt of Rivia was an otter? I took off with that idea and made a design for the Otter Knight, a grumpy looking little dude who will kick anyone's ass.

In this particular project I aimed to create a character from the ground up with a videogame pipeline in mind, my goal was to make a game ready character and keep it below 40k triangles with the necessary texture sets (for this I wanted interchangable clothes and armor) and a sword with an extra prop to bring more life to the character.

Overall I was quite pleased with the design, I love rendering out various light scenarios and composing them to make the character feel more alive, hope you like it!
