The project was to Texture a model of a shoe as realistically as possible. The model was provided by the college itself.

Round of applause for our sponsors
This is the render of a shoe I had to do for my first year at ESMA Lyon. The model does not belong to me and was one the college provided to us. I worked mainly on the texturing of this project. I tried to replicate leather on a shoe, paying attention to grain variation and flow.
Most of the leather was textured in Mudbox to extract some high-res displacement maps.
This project was incredibly fun to work on and I learnt a whole bunch of different workflows during the course of this project!
