Game Art : Project 1

In this project we were told to begin Making a Silhouette of our characters. I am going to recreate 3 characters from Nier : 2B, 9S, and the pod. I decided to choose the pod so I can have more freedom by just creating whatever companion that I want. I first began by creating the templates of the characters and sketches of how i want the pod to look like. After that I decided to make the silhouette for 2B and 9S's clothes.

looking at the options I have, I like the party theme for 2B and 9S (number 3). for the pod, I really like how powerful number 5 looks like. After this, I moved on to creating the mask(?) for 2B and 9S and their hairstyle to match the costume.

For the Hairstyle, I really like number 7 and 8. It is essentially the same hairstyle as number 5 and 6, but I prefer when I can see the character's hand. For the mask, to match the whole "party" theme, I like number 5 and 6 better. The masks was also inspired by Persona 5's mask.

The outline is done, now I am moving on to project 2 to color the characters.
