I realized it this year. When my study at the university is nearly over. Then the next step is to get working experience. (or at the very least try to get better and ready myself for the industry level)

Ever since I was a child I've always loved creating, from lying on my bedroom floor drawing to playing with LEGO's, it wasn't until I entered High School that I realised if I practised hard enough I might someday be able to turn my passion for creating and designing into a career.

In high school I had begun going to the cinema regularly, it was then that I decided I wanted a career in the entertainment industry as I was continuously fascinated by the visual effects and wanted to learn how to inspire others through similar creative practices.

After completing my Masters in Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington, there was an itch that architecture didn't quite scratch. After getting my hands on Blender and Unreal Engine following my studies I found the solution in the creative industries.

I have wanted to go into the creative industry all my life. My love for character design and creative developments for different media through artistic endeavours. And my childhood was filled with art and video games so they can mesh quite well.

I've wanted to work in a creative industry as long as I can remember. I took an interest in animation and concept art from an early age and these remain the areas in which I am most enthusiastic about.

At the start of the covid pandemic I was needing to change careers, I tried out some graphic design papers at my university to see if I was interested in design having already a strong interest in analogue art. I really enjoyed it and after initially signing up to do my major in communication(graphic) design I found animation and visual effects and switched my path of study. Now I'm particulary enjoying working in a 3d space and am most interested in procedural design.

Ive always been passionate about creative projects and industries.

In high school, I already chose to work in the creative design field in the future. I enjoy creating work with my hands and presenting it perfectly. I like to use my hands to achieve any ideas from my mind.

When I was in high school I was more committed. I was interested in art since primary school.

I realized that I wanted to work in design industry while I was taking art related subjects in high school.

When first time I saw the Disney cartoon Alice in Wonderland(1951). Although I'm now studying in 3d, I'm still fascinated by the magic of deformation in 2d animation

Beginning with studying fashion and textiles and being introduced to costume and character design through a fashion paper taught by Heli Salomaa. Valuing the power of visual story telling and its potential for positive global change through connections it builds between people globally.

The first time that I found out that I want to work in creative media was when I first watched Avatar as a child I was so impressed by the depth of the realistic background that I decided I would do my best to be involved in making a movie like this in the future.

When I was 15 I was very passionate about the artistic visual expression of fantasy worlds and characters. This lead me to become inspired and motivated to contribute to the development of such worlds in the film industry. I believe that there is no cap on our collective imagination when we work together to turn fantasy into reality and that the possibilities of what can be achieved in film are limitless.

I am a huge fan of magic worlds and desire to create my own magic through inspiring computer graphics.

When I first started my first semester I just really enjoyed it

I've wanted to work in entertainment since I was young. I completed my Bachelors in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) in 2019 but with Covid-19, decided to try my hand in film and creative media. I finished my Postgraduate Diploma in Film with Victoria University of Wellington and am currently enrolled in my Masters of Fine Arts (Creative Practice) in Film also. I am interested in post production skills and am keen to discover how to use FX.

I thought my dream job would be an architect. But I realized concept design is my passion!

When I was in primary school, playing around with a point and shoot camera.

I studied music and health science before deciding that I wanted to study engineering. When I began studying engineering, I was introduced to the computer graphics course at Victoria University of Wellington, and fell in love. I think I have always known that I wanted to do something more creative, but the course showed me that it was actually achievable.
