When I was about 12. I had been playing video games for most of my life, and I loved to draw. I fell in love with animation as a medium and constantly watched videos on it and researched it.

As I was starting Year 12, I knew I really wanted to work in the creative industry as I always enjoyed ideating, creating and making things but knew I also wanted some sort of security and the desire to help others. Naturally, teaching design seemed like the right choice as it was a combination of what I wanted to do in the future as a job.

It was a quite dramatic moment that I realised I wanted to create something 3d. I was fascinated by the graphics and motions when I went to watch a movie as a 9th grade, wondered how they were made, and started searching for 3d art and the industry, which I ended up enrolling in an animation course to actually study it.

Graduating with a degree in Interior Architecture, what excites me about the built environment industry is the fact that it is forever evolving. Being able to contribute to how people experience these built environments is what attracted me to pursuing a career within this field. However, I have realised the limitless opportunities of the creative media industry as we transfer to digital platforms when visualising space. It is through media, where we can share our creations and ideas.

The first time I ever considered art as a job was when I was around 8 years old and looking through my dads Magic the Gathering cards and realized "wow someone got paid to create these artworks". From then on I knew that I wanted to make illustration and creating my career, this passion only grew as I started to play video games, I found my self actively seeking out the character design and concept art, which to this day I still love, even more so than the finished products.

I have always had an interest in the power of creative media and entertainment to evoke feelings towards the audience and allow them to embark on a journey. I first had an interest in this during high school through the medium of drama from year 9+ and started develop curiosity in animation in senior years. I've had an appreciation for movies and short films for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until last year I decided to delve more into learning the processes of media arts.

Illustration and animation have always been my greatest interests and they bring me joy and motivation every day.

I could sense it coming. I first started loving to create when I was little. My interest started at drawing then I discovered digital art and now I love just about every creative digital media. The moment I became certain of the desire to work in the creative media industry was during my last semester at university taking on my largest uni project with five friends.

While I was still in high school. All of my notebooks would fill up with doodles instead of notes.

Drawing started off as a hobby and after a lot of practise, I became interested in other creative fields and wanted to enter the creative industry.
