Sevens is a wizard who studies the enchantment school of magic, which is all about charming and mesmerizing people. His most prized possession is an arch-magus’ spell book, which he studies daily, discovering strange but often beneficial spells.
Originally, Sevens was a part of his own catfolk clan way out yonder, but he was banished after trying to charm the chieftain’s daughter, Opal, into courtship. Sevens doesn’t quite understand the ramifications of the spells he uses, and thus he tends to dabble in things without knowing what he is doing which often lands him into trouble. Since coming to Faerun, Sevens has had to use his magic to leech off people, stealing food and supplies.
Sevens is a timid creature and would rather find the easy way out of things over the hard way. He is a self-confessed coward, but he will argue that a life full of risk often ends in disaster. Paradoxically, he is still ashamed of his cowardice, but he doesn’t really show it, and he will have to learn to face the dangers of the world if he is ever to break out of his poverty. That or find a job with an employer who can stand him for more than two seconds in their shop.
Sevens hates water which has led to him having a garbage-pile smell. That and his clothes also don’t help his aroma, which are just a random assortment of dirty warm clothes that he stole from another homeless person while they weren’t looking (the man was having a bath of all things).
Sevens is curious about most things, but the issue comes from the fact that he tends his drop interest when he may have only just scratched the surface of a subject. The only thing he has constantly been interested in is his spellbook.
Seven’s goals right now are to try and find a way to be accepted back into his clan. Perhaps a rare treasure or artefact as a gift for the chieftain will do? Or maybe, perhaps, he can find a wish spell to be let back home?
