Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I was always interested in the arts, but took a detour in high school to go for a field in the sciences instead. During this time I was in a two year science program that consisted of only academics and it was during this time that I realized how much I loved exploring my creative side and making works of art. I dropped all my science classes in grade 12 to work towards making a portfolio for Emily Carr University of Art & Design and was thankfully accepted.
It was actually quite late. I always knew that I want to do something that relates to art and design, but I just never thought about animation. Before I start learning it, I always heard that it is something really hard and not for everyone. I mean those rumor were right, but I fell in love with it once I picked it up when I started my study in animation at Emily Carr University.
I was first introduced to the creative industries when I was in high school but didn't go through a systematic study until I was nearing the end of university when I started to realize that it was time to do something about my dream. I want to work on various aspects of the game's story, gameplay, and art. So, I want to improve my skills in all areas, including sub-screening for film or animation and plot writing.
At the age of 17, I was attracted to animation and subsequently made it my career goal. After studying relevant knowledge and skills in Taiwan, I realized that I am particularly passionate about being an animator. I aspire to enter the animation industry as an animator, pursue employment opportunities, and fulfill my personal self-realization.
I have sort of always known that I wanted to work within the creative industry, been participating in art since I was a little kid - the more recent discovery was the games industry and my interest in that. It was never really brought up as an option growing up and once I began exploring my options for studying post-high school I found that the games industry was a chance to combine my love of creative work and video games.
I'm an industrial designer who enjoys solving problems. My interest in problem-solving started with my love for math. I was always excited about solving, Then, it was a physiological science and philosophy that made me feel exactly that way. I like to know everything, honestly, I liked to be an inventor and it was really hard for me to choose a field. But finally, I got to know myself and choose this one.
When I was 19, I set my sights on working in the creative industry. Because I love watching movies and was greatly influenced by "Avatar" and "How to Train Your Dragon". I have loved creating things and drawing pictures since I was a child, and my interest in modeling led me to start 3DCG when I was 21 years old.
