Round of applause for our sponsors

I have been drawing my whole life, but never really thought I wanted to pursue it as a career. It was until after my degree in Computer Science that I realized it wasn't what I loved to do and that's when I decided I wanted to pursue a degree in Game Art & Design.

I first discovered Photoshop early in high school. I picked it up really quick and enjoyed doing image manipulation. That then transformed into motion graphics with After Effects, to then be 3D modeling in Maya. After I graduated high school, I decided to go to school for game art and design where I would later specialize in hardurafce modeling and texturing for games.

In about second grade was when I wanted to become an animator. I have been drawing everyday since then learned how to use 3d software (maya, zbrush, unreal engine) and have been practicing ever since

I have always played video games but when I first played Uncharted 2 I was amazed, that made me want to get involved in video games.

I grew up playing video games and after my time in the military I decided to follow my passion and get involve as an artist in the game industry

Honestly, I think I realized it as a kid; it just took me a dozen extra years for it to sink in. I've loved video games ever since my SNES and around my 8th job in a tiny cafe/ late-night pizzeria, I realized I wanted to do something about it. Creativity and Creation have always been interests of mine and 3D modelling resonates strongly with both. There's artistic interpretation for me to feel connected to my works, with enough process and design to give me direction and guidance.
