Round of applause for our sponsors

I realized my passion for 3D art when I was studying Game design. In this course, we used 3DS Max to create models. I found myself spending extra hours after class trying to recreate models from my favorite games. I then attended a full-time University in Game design where my skills and passion grew.

From around the age of 8 I started dablling around in Flash animation as I was in love with cartoons. Spent most of my time as a kid drawing and doing really small silly animations of stories with my friends around 12-13 years old I started making small games in flash and then in a really old version of RPG maker XP. I initially was going to go into traditional animation after school but found I liked making animation and art for games way more, plus designing games was an equal passion.

When I was in secondary school. I've always liked creating things, whether it was an art piece, cosplay or even mechanical contraptions. Once I found out that there was a chance that I could link both my passion and work, I was all over it. The thing that drove me to apply for and attend Game Design in TU Dublin, was a minecraft themed poster put up on the school wall.

The first time I realised I wanted to work in the Games industry was about 6 months into my Game Design course, a bit late but I figured it out eventually. I had just finished up the first project I was truly passionate about, I knew then that it was a feeling I would always want to replicate.
