Round of applause for our sponsors

I was around 15-16 when I found an Easter egg in Skyrim that had the name of the artist written on the dragon bone armor set. It was then that I realized "Wait! this is someone's job? I need to do this”, From then on I knew that I wanted to make cool and fantastical characters and creatures just like the ones I saw In elder scrolls!

It all started when I was 13 years old, I went to a game development summer camp. There I was taught Maya, Photoshop, and UDK and I loved it! I really enjoyed modeling random stuff in Maya, I modeled random things throughout high school like a bike and weapons from anime or video games.

During my undergrad, I discovered 3D Art and quickly fell in love with it.

When I first experienced Avatar: the Last Airbender as a kid. It inspired me to want to tell stories and create characters with as much depth as the ones Mike and Bryan created. Since then, I've been writing and creating endlessly.

I first realized I wanted to help make video games for a living when a recruiter for a game design school came to my middle school. They showed us that this is a viable career option. My love for games, though, goes back to when I was around 6 years old and I would watch my dad play the original Legend of Zelda game on NES. I was also crafty and loved to make art so when I had the thought to merge those two paths together, I decided I wanted to make art for video games "when I grow up."
