I've started a study in programming before actually realising I wanted to do something with game art. I've realised after 2 years of that study (I did finish the full 4 years tho..) that something creative was more suited for me. Before 3 years ago I did nothing in art and started my journey back then. Although I learned the basics in university, most of my actual skills are self thought. I like to go into environment concept art world but before I can realise that I have much to learn.

I have always been creative but it took me a while to pursuit a career in this field. I did A-levels in economy and after that I researched things to study. I had a look at the CMGT study of Saxion and loved what I saw. I enrolled and since then I enjoy learning everything about the process of making art in this industry. This is now around 2 years ago and it has lead me to be creative every single day.

First started to get interested in working in the industry around the age of 13.

When I watched Sailor moon

During my gap year, after high school, I was struggling to decide what direction to go in next. I knew I wanted to be a creative, I just wasn't very inspired by what I thought were my options at the time. It was during a very uninspiring product design internship that I stumbled upon a concept art magazine and as if out of nowhere I suddenly realized that I could become a game artist. From there I set off to discover how much I love 3D as a medium.

Drawing is something that I have been doing since I was very little. This in combination with the fact that I am interested in almost everything fantasy related, made drawing a way for me to visualise and live my fantasies. Now I'm looking to take my drawing to a digital level to better share my works with people and to find my place in the digital market of today.

I always had an attraction towards creative industries, however I realised that I wanted to work in creative industries after secondary school, during my gap year.

I'm Sisilia Nedyalkova, a freelance environmental artist currently working with Ghost Town Games. My expertise lies in crafting stylized props and environments. I have a keen interest in set dressing and art direction, and I consider myself a sociable individual. On a personal note, I have a special fondness for banana walnut muffins!

In high school when I came across a random job posting for a 3d artist. Having no clue what that is I researched it and saw what they do. Because I love games it was clear that this job would allow me to combine my passions practically and make a career out of it.

I found my passion for game art around 2018, and decided to try joining an university that studies game art back in 2021. What really grabbed my attention was how fun and interesting was working in ZBrush for me.

Since I was a kid, I had dreamed about imaginary characters and their fascinating worlds and brought them to life through numerous sketches on paper or digital software

A few years ago I realised that I wanted to work in the creative industry. Not knowing what I wanted to do yet, the only certainty that I wanted it to be something creative. After starting my study, Creative Media and Game Technologies, I realized quickly that I wanted to move toward digital 3D art.

It was from early years, when I was surfing through internet and were observing creative media content, through social medias, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.. I have spotted huge amount of interesting content, that was giving me a feeling that one maybe someday I will be able to create cool-looking drawings, characters, models.

The day I entered middle school I knew it would be me working with computers for the rest of my life. Additionally, the rise of VR and the influence Japanese pop culture has had on me have instilled a sense of yearning for the future of games. And I want to be part of it!

During my graduation internship for my Marketing course I realized that, that did not make me happy. I wanted to do something I enjoy and show the world what I can do and my creativity. That's when I decided to enroll for a Creative Media & Game Technologies course, in which I later decided to specialize myself into 3D Art.

As a young teenager, I started developing an interest in film and wanted to become an animator. I searched for schools that would teach me to become one, but all required me to have experience. Lazy teenage me didn't have that and decided to study Creative Technology for which he didn't need experience. For 5 years I completely forgot about my dream of working in the film industry. Until I discovered Houdini. All I want to do now is learn to create stunning art and visual effects.

Ever since I was little I loved watching cartoons/animated shows and that inspired me to start drawing the characters from the shows which later became a necessary in my life and as time passed by and technology evolved I was really into video games and that inspired me to start in the creative industry. With the years I decided to switch from 2D drawings to modelling and sculpting 3D characters.

When I was designing websites and creating Call of Duty montages as a teenager.

I had a passion for it early on, but got disconnected for a while due to personal issues and picked it up again after some of them were resolved enough so I could have the confidence to dive into this again.
