Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
From 2015-2019 I attended a 3D Design, modelmaking and digital art course in IADT Dublin for four years in which we mainly learned how to create props and sets for film and TV but coming to the end of my time there I realised I really enjoyed Digital 3D work. After My time in IADT I thought myself multiple software's such as Maya, Substance painter, Photoshop and Zbrush.
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work in creative field, but at the time I just saw it as more of a passion. I was always the student in class that would fill his notebook up with drawings and doodles, some ridiculously detailed, much to the dismay of my teachers. It wasn't until my teens, that I was old enough to understand that artistry was a real career path that I decided it was what I wanted to do professionally.
I first realised that I wanted to work in creative industries at a very young age. I was very interested in reading manga and watching anime as well as playing MMORPGs as a child. At a young age, I enjoyed drawing and doodling a lot. In school, I would often be daydreaming or sketching my teachers in class, which has gotten me into trouble more than once. Works of Studio Ghibli, Laika, and Pixar studios inspire me to become a part of the animation industry.
I've been in love with art since I remember. Growing up, I discovered worlds of fantasy and horror through different mediums, which played a massive role in my becoming. Recently, I understood that I wanted to be a part of a movement that brings joy, mystery, horror, magic, art, and entertainment to people. I love good interactive stories and I want them to be brought to life, seen, and enjoyed. So, this year I've started to explore the industry and study hard to become one of the creators.
Originally when doing a Games development course we were tasked with doing several projects , when doing these projects i decided to do some custom assets for the fun of it and genuinely enjoyed it (moreso than the game development side of things i would say) so after i graduated, when not looking for work and when i had the time i decided to begin trying to learn 3D art.
