Round of applause for our sponsors

I was in 5th grade and my main way of playing online with my friends was getting on Halo and building maps with Forge. Even though we were simply rearranging assets, I had something click that I wanted to do be involved with creating video games. I pursued this dream through high school by taking art and drafting classes that built my familiarity with making good orthographic drawings and understanding objects in 3d. I then continued by getting my Bachelor's Degree with a major in animation.

The first moment I realized I wanted to be in the entertainment industry as an animator was when I was transferring colleges. I was in the early twenties "I don't know what I want to do, but I should get a degree in something, right?" phase. Then I overheard a staff member mentioning an animation program. A fire sparked in me and I knew that's what I wanted to do. I immediately changed majors and went through the program with passion and fascination, and graduated top of my class!

Near the end of my freshman year in college. I realized engineering was not for me and my passion was in animation

Prior to graduating high school I downloaded Blender and started to learn it on my own through self teaching and online videos. Once I started learning I was hooked and 1000% knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

I've always been into art and being an artist. I use to doodle in my work books as a kid and all throughout school I would draw and sculpt whenever and whatever. I learned I wanted to be in Animation when I started studying how it works in High School and at the beginning of college. I have been in love with creating and making things ever sense.
