At an early age, I fell in love with making environments for games. When I was 12 years old, I downloaded CryEngine 3 on my Pentium PC and started putting assets from the game "Crysis" that came with the engine onto a level that I designed in my head. I was so proud of myself at the time, but I knew I was being limited by what I was given. At that moment I made the decision to pursue 3D environment art creation for games so that one day, I could bring worlds into existence for others to enjoy.

Ive always wanted to be a professional artist as a kid, but only when I went to college did I realize that computer graphics was the perfect combination of art and technology for me. Additionally my passion for games has influenced me to pursue a career as an environment artist.

As a kid I always loved animation, and by high school I wanted to become an animator, or possibly game artist. In university I expanded my horizons, learning 3D and game art and adding in coding, and now I want to make games, programming and / or 3D art!

Since I could conceive of a job.

I've been drawing, animating, making short films, and playing video games since I was in Highschool, but it wasn't until I played The Last of Us in 2013 that I wanted to work in the 3D industry. That game in particular opened my eyes as to video games not just as fun entertainment, but as an immersive and brand new way to tell stories.

It wasn't necessarily something that I've always wanted to do. After high school I wanted to find out about what i truly wanted to do; at first i thought nursing was going to be the job that i want because of reliability, but I wanted to enjoy what I do. I gave a shot for art in college and enjoyed it ever since and that's more or less how I got roped up into this!

I first realized I wanted to work in the 3D art industry when I was in high school making mods for Half-life 2 and Warcraft 3! The creative freedom was never-ending for me! I make mods for Super Smash Brothers to this day!

I first realized that I had a strong interest in the field of animation all the way back in 5th or 6th grade. I was inspired by Minecraft animations. A little bit unorthodox, but it was what introduced me into the field. Inspired, I started taking mixed 2D and 3D animation classes around 7th or 8th grade, where I learned that I actually preferred 2D animation.

About mid way through high school, I began becoming more interested in working in games after listening to the developer commentary on Valve games. I began my studies in computer science, then moved into computer animation.

Since high school, I wanted to be someone who can be a creator as a career. Lots of content that I grew up with influenced that decision, ranging from films, TV shows, music, and video games. I was going to be a film composer or audio engineer until I learned more about visual effects and game design. I had some art skills before I entered college, but I've learned that I can enjoy working on 3D projects with others while making my own content on the side, whether it's a short film or an album.

When my hands wanted to make things to tell a story as opposed to simply accomplish a task over, and over, and over again. Specifically awhile back I wanted to use my fascination with technology to enter the digital art sect and leverage it to tell stories whether my own or someone else's.

When I first open Maya and zBrush 3rd year into college.

Like many people the movies from studio Ghibli inspired me to pursue animation!

When I was 11 and watched the Harry Potter films. I always enjoyed the extra features when artists would discuss the process and this inspired me to pursue art as a career.

I was a junior in high school and after taking many 3D modeling classes using Inventor I wanted to turn my modeling skills into what I had a passion for and that was games.

I first realized I wanted to work in the entertainment industry when I discovered how my favorite movies and games were made. After that I started experimenting with Maya and try to recreate similar effects. Since then I have worked more in Unreal to create more unique experiences.

I realized that the creative media route was my passion when I found myself doing more 3D art than playing video games.

I realized I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I joined the CSUF Entertainment & Tourism Club and Women in Animation at CSUF.

When I realized that I want to work in video games and make masterpieces like Silent Hill 2 and The Last of Us!

I've always loved art but never had the courage to do art. When I was 20 and failing in computer science, I decided to pursue my childhood dream of making stories and drawing cool stuffs.
