I am a 3D Environment Artist who aims to create game environments that are immersive, unique and tell a thoughtful story. I mainly focus on modeling and texturing hard surface props, set pieces, and organic models for game environments. With a strong background in Cinematography for live action films, I apply my knowledge in lighting, composition, and color theory to the models and scenes I create.

I didn't realize it during the moment that I wanted to be a 3D artist, but when I was 9 years old I had a dream that I wanted to make pokemon real! I would constantly make fanart from my mystery dungeon guide book, and imagine realities where I could interact with the drawings. Years later I realized how outlandish the dream of making pokemon literally REAL was, yet that passion to see my creations come to life stuck through.

Since I was 10 years old.

I have always had a passion for art and animation. Like most children, it started with a relatively intense love for cartoons and anime and a tendency to doodle in cheap sketchbooks. those habits transformed into a desire to analyze how characters move in cartoons and how said movements and camera placement create an impact in storytelling, thus my interest in art shifted into something I wanted to achieve as a career.

I realized I wanted to work in the entertainment industry when I first bought a PC in high school. After spending my days playing a variety of games, I thought that this would be something I want to be a part of, and taking that I already had some experience in art at the time, I decided I would work towards being a game artist.

Senior Year of High School

Back in community college when I was taking 2D general drawing classes

Visiting the Animation Open House on the Chico Campus, CA, I just realized I really wanted to go the 3D route. I never really thought it was something I could go for, until I saw it in person. Originally I was going for Mechanical Engineering, but I've been dabbling in art classes all my life. This also ties into my desire to bring some of my favorite stories alive, whether that format be a game/film/artwork.
