Round of applause for our sponsors

I am a huge gamer and mainly enjoy the From Software's such as Dark souls, Blood-borne and Sekiro, mainly because of the visuals such as the environments and especially the character designs. I am huge fan of anime as well especially when the visuals and art styles stand out. I enjoy designing my own characters and started using Z brush since i work better with 3d drawing than 2D drawing.

I've had an interest in creative media, specifically film & animation since a young age. During my youth I produced stop motion films with plasticine and lego, inspired by the works of Aardman. In recent years, I've taken creative courses in animation & visual effects at college and University.

I always liked to build things, to draw and during studying architecture I wanted to focus on something more artistic.

When I went to college and started my 3D games art course

My dad got me into gaming since I was a kid and had always wondered what it would be like to work on games like World of Warcraft. Later in my life I learnt about 3D Game Art and have since aspired to get into the industry and contribute to creating the games I love so much.

In early 2020 I, along with my fellow illustration and animation students at Anglia Ruskin university visited Blue Zoo studios in central London. This is when I realised I wanted to focus my skills to computer based animation. It has been during my current MA that I have discovered my passion for 3D character animation.

When I was 13, I began experimenting with things such as the Scratch Game Engine, and I've wanted to expand my horizons ever since I've now learned how to animate, and I want to be able to use my current to learn more and eventually create my own game.

I am motion graphics designer and I've been working for 5 years now. However until recently I discovered my passion as 3D animator and began learning most popular software and tools in 3D world. I am also 3D animation MA student from Bucks New Uni.

When I was finishing High-school I realise that I wanted to work on media.

Back in 2012 when I started teaching myself Blender. I realised that I enjoyed modelling. The moment I realised I wanted a career in modelling was when I discovered ZBrush. I bought myself a licence for the software and a Wacom Critique 24HD, which was the latest thing out at the time.

I've enjoyed varying forms of art since I was young. I decided what I wanted to do when I found out there was a VFX and animation course at a nearby college, which then led me to continue my education in VFX in University.

Towards the end of school, where my interest in films started to grow further.

Since I was a young, I knew that I wanted to make films, and as I grew older, so too did my creative spark.

I first realised I wanted to work as a concept artist, and in particular a prop concept artist in the gaming industry, because the aspects of design I enjoy the most are early stages, where you are designing and iterating. I love thinking of different ideas and I am constantly creating something. Since I am also passionate about art and have been drawing all my life to me concept art is a perfect combination of the two main aspects that I enjoy.

I've always wanted to, but lacked confidence, and was not in a position to ever 'work for free'. Which was the norm when I first left education.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I became fasinated sketching as I young child but never realised I was any good until other classmates became intrested into the work I was doing. With age I moved art from pen and paper to a screen where I found a love for basic compositing. This shortly lead into my early stages of 3D which allowed me to combine my love for film and my digital art.

I've been messing around with games and modding since i was a teenager. As i grew older i picked up 3D Modeling as a new fun thing to do so when i was starting to become an adult i was weighing my options regarding my future. And i didn't know what to do and which way i should be heading until i realised that , that hobby i had was something i could be doing as a living. In that moment and even now, the future looked really exciting and fun.

I realised I wanted to work in the entertainment industry while on the way to my 8:40am physics lesson. There was a games studio just down the road and I would always see developers on the train. They stuck out like a saw thumb around all the other commuters because unlike the insurance brokers and bank managers, the game developers looked excited to go to work (well... as excited as one can look at 8:40am).
