Round of applause for our sponsors

I realized I wanted to make 3D art midway through my college career. I wasn't sure if it was for me, but I don't want to change my experience for anything else and I really want to show what I can do.

When i played resident evil 2 i wanted to make games

I realized at very young age that I wanted to work in this industry. However no one finding my way in continues to be a real struggle.

When I was around 10 years old, I discovered Blender and found level editors like Unreal UDK and CryEngine in Unreal Tournament 3 and Crysis disk files. I was captivated from an early age playing all sorts of games. Board games like Risk to video games on the SNES like Super Mario World as well as PS1 games like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro had huge influences on me.

I was 22 in the Air Force and made a list of all the things I wanted to do in life: tell stories, make music, make illustrations. Animation was the next logical choice that encompasses all of them. That's when I knew I wanted to be an animator.

When I was 14, back in 2000, I wasn't sure of how to begin until I meet a cousin a couple of years later, and that's when I started working toward that goal.

Back in 2004 when getting out of highschool I always wanted to purse a career in video games. Mainly because I was fascinated by the way they worked. I wanted to know what software you used, you to create it and what tools we're in the making. I've always had a knack for anything technical but when it came to games and specifically game engines I could speak the language before I ever understood what it meant.

Senior year of high school.
