Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
Since I was a little kid i enjoyed a lot videogames and I explored each detail from those games, I grew up a little bit more and realized that I wanted to be on the other side of the screen, not only being the player who enjoys it but the person behind the development of the things that early on catched my eye.
I really do not know when exactly when and what made me make the decision, let's say it was something progressive. I started studying video and photography, but I liked to draw and I decided to study illustration. During these years, I discovered that I liked the world of animation and started to investigate where I could learn and focus my career in 3D modeling.
When I was a child I was drawing all the time, desinging characters and videogames. Even so, as I grew up I decided to study IT. It was an idea that recursively came to my mind while I was working in the IT industry but the final decision was in October 2020. After some years working as a software developer I undestood that I was better and more passionate about creating than developing. I quitted my job and focused my time in learning all the skills I'd need to work in the creative industries.
I enrolled in a Fine Arts college in Edimburgh while trying to find my calling, Leith School of Arts, which gave me the oportunity to learn and experiment with different techniques and medias, I learned different skills while I was studying there and one of them was 2D animation. I fell in love with the way I could make drawings come to life and tell stories through them. I decided to pursue 3D animation and enrolled in Animum Creativity Advanced.
I have been drawing since I was 4 years old so in some way I have always been in the creative world. Since I was little I have been greatly influenced by animation films from large industries such as Disney Pixar or Dreamworks. Since then, I continue working hard to be able to enter a place of that high quality level. I know that it is not an easy dream but I have always known that my future work is going to be related to art.
I always wanted to create new things. Audiovisual arts were my passion and since I have memory I wanted to became an artist. I take photographs wherever I go, draw, edit videos, and even play instruments. When I was in High School, I watched many animation films at theatres and discovered live hologram concerts, which definitely made me explore art beyond paper and camera. Due to this, I have focused my interest on CGI, Cartoon and 3D Animation. I'm exploring new ways of art using CG and VR.
I have always wanted to work for the industry, ever since I met the the toy story movie. In my country, there weren't any kind of studies for 3D. But one day in the year 2021, while I was in the hospital, I saw a program on YouTube, in which everyday objects were modeled in 3D, I found it fabulous "the fact of drawing and then transforming realities". And it was there when I decided to delve into the 3D study and learn modeling in Maya.
Three years ago, when I just finished my backelor's degree, I was looking for something that makes me happy. Then I found CGI world and I started learning generally 3D skills as modeling, animation and texturing. When I finished I just wanted to know more and then I discovered Houdini and I decided to course a new master's degree with Animum to learn compositing and vfx with Nuke and Houdini. Nowadays I'm studying UE5 and looking for an opportunity to start in the industry.
