Round of applause for our sponsors

As long as I can remember, art and video games have always played a big roll in my life. Didn't know it was possible to combine those two as a job until a few years ago. Now I cannot see myself doing something else.

I've loved drawing almost my entire life, but started taking it seriously at the age of 10. I was also interested in games back then, and had a small dream of working in the business. It seemed pretty unlikely at the time considering how small the industry seemed to me, and remained as a pipe-dream for a long time. Sometime during 2019 I started modding pre-existing models in Blender for a game. Eventually I was able to make models on my own, which made me realize there was a path from there on.

When StarStable Entertainment showed some behind the scene content for their game, and I thought it looked like a lot of fun.

After elementary school. Me and my friends spent most of our days sharing moments from our favorite games and after realising that I could obtain the tools to create those experiences myself it was obvious

After I found out how to make games and when I tried to make a game for the first time.

I dont know if I know a specific event that made me want to start creating but I've always had fun creating and so I've just happened upon this path.

I have forever been interested in Video Games, and when my passion for the sciences rose in middle school I realized I could combine the two into game design. Taking a scientific and analytic approach to games and game development. I decided that I wanted to study Game Design in High School when I applied, and got in, to Playgroundsquad in Sweden!

I have always been interested in video games and the creation thereof. I first started learning about Game Design at the end of 2021. It has been a very fun and exciting journey for me and being able to work with other people doing something I love has been extremely fulfilling.

When I went to University and played my first video Game.

My brother showed me Maya a couple of years back and i've been hooked ever since. I also love the creative process from start to finish.

for fun with school

Programming is consistently one of my biggest passions; ever since I wrote my first “Hello World” as part of my first programming lesson in high school I have been utterly hooked, and it is something I gladly seek to pursue further in the future.

At a young age i got to play video games for the first time, since then i've always had interest in making them, drawing concept art and coming up with ideas. Later on i realized i could work with 3D modelling and decided i wanted to focus on that. Recently i discovered technical art and this is currently what i am aiming for.

I have always been a part and had interest in the video game industry. Therefore working in my favourite field of entertainment was just a natural fit that I very much enjoy even to this day.

Since I played my first game. (SMB3)

I've always been fascinated with video games and in primary school, at approximately age 10, I started thinking about the theoretical aspects of creating games and started building concepts and ideas in my head. From then on I started making small games in browser based programs, as well as started creating levels for games that had the ability for custom level editing. When I went into highschool is when my journey started proper as I studied game development there.

Always been playing around with editors but it took off when I tried Unity for the first time about four years ago.

I've had a passion for games ever since I was young but it wasn't until recently that I realised that it's an industry that I could actually work in myself. After this realisation I started working on my application test and can happily say that I got accepted as a Game Designer at PlaygroundSquad in 2021!
