Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I've loved drawing almost my entire life, but started taking it seriously at the age of 10. I was also interested in games back then, and had a small dream of working in the business. It seemed pretty unlikely at the time considering how small the industry seemed to me, and remained as a pipe-dream for a long time. Sometime during 2019 I started modding pre-existing models in Blender for a game. Eventually I was able to make models on my own, which made me realize there was a path from there on.
I have forever been interested in Video Games, and when my passion for the sciences rose in middle school I realized I could combine the two into game design. Taking a scientific and analytic approach to games and game development. I decided that I wanted to study Game Design in High School when I applied, and got in, to Playgroundsquad in Sweden!
At a young age i got to play video games for the first time, since then i've always had interest in making them, drawing concept art and coming up with ideas. Later on i realized i could work with 3D modelling and decided i wanted to focus on that. Recently i discovered technical art and this is currently what i am aiming for.
I've always been fascinated with video games and in primary school, at approximately age 10, I started thinking about the theoretical aspects of creating games and started building concepts and ideas in my head. From then on I started making small games in browser based programs, as well as started creating levels for games that had the ability for custom level editing. When I went into highschool is when my journey started proper as I studied game development there.
I've had a passion for games ever since I was young but it wasn't until recently that I realised that it's an industry that I could actually work in myself. After this realisation I started working on my application test and can happily say that I got accepted as a Game Designer at PlaygroundSquad in 2021!
