I have always been into art from a young age and played a lot of games and loved the environment aspect, i realized I wanted to pursue this as a career

I have been art driven since I was very young and discovered entertainment art before I started university in 2019. After I discovered concept art, namely character design, I realised it was a path I connected with and wanted to pursue.

I started gaining a passion when I watched documentaries on video game/film creation. I loved how a simple sketch slowly turned into a universe of creation. It slowly evolved into wanting to draw something and make my own ideas come to life.

After working in finance and in law for 7 years I found it so unfulfilling. I liked getting stuff done, but the lack of creativity was horrible. I was also told I had too much personality to work in a boring office which was a weird one too. I have always enjoyed making things so though "why not make a career out of it?". I've got loads of life experience from being a manager, Cash office responsible, client accountant so I can apply what is have learned there into creative tasks to make it fun!

Besides being interested in traditional art skills at a young age, growing up I had contact eith cabinet makers and other craft persons which probably fueled my interest in woodworking, restoration and desgin. At some point I realised people actually did 3d art, and I devoted most of my free time to learning as much as I could on the subject. Evetually that interest turned to game art and design and I started to get involved in with other creatives and content makers.

When I was deciding what I should go to university for, initially I was thinking animation, but tried out the games art course and decided I wanted to work in games

I've always enjoyed playing video games and watching movies at an early age. later on in life when I had finished school and was unsure of what to do next, I knew that I loved video games and realised how many jobs are available in this field of work so I took a 2-year course in creative media production specifically catered to games development and now currently studying games art at UCA Farnham

When I played Dishonored for the first time and realised that I wanted to produce stunning art that thousands of people could enjoy.

Around 2011-12 when I began using my first 3D software, Google SketchUp, interpreting drawings I had done in my sketchbook and began studying more into 2D and 3D software, along with more traditional mediums.

When gaming playthroughs and live streams started to become popular, I watched these creators play games for entertainment and because I didn't have any type of console or decent PC at the time. As I have also chosen the creative subjects in school and college, I realized making games would be a perfect match for me.

During my time in collage I decided that I wanted to join a creative industry, initially during this time I was not too sure what I wanted to do but I knew I wanted to go into the entertainment industry. during this time I decided to further my education by enrolling into UCA Farnham to do the game arts course. During the time at this course I initially decided to focus my time on developing my 2D skills, during my time at UCA I was introduced to zbrush, I now plan to pursue character art
