Playing RPGs inspired me to turn my love of art into a career in games, so that I could create things that others could enjoy.

I first decided I wanted to get into the industry when I was introduced to SketchUp in school (around 10 years ago), I fell in love with creating 3D models and environments and wanted to push my skills further, and do what I loved as a living.

I played a lot of video games when I was younger and always had a passion for creating them, so I followed any possible route that would take me there which let me to an animation class in college. Over the 2 year course I slowly wanted to go down into the film industry instead, as It felt way more exciting to me, and that has now led me to the CGI and VFX course in Uni.

Initially my main focus was on oil painting, mostly creating realistic landscapes. During a foundation degree in fine art, I started looking more seriously at CGI. I'm not sure that there was anything in particular that made me want to work in VFX, it was more of a slow process of exploring the tools and seeing the amazing work that people were making with them.

I always was interested in Art in generel. With the age of 17 i decided to do it as a career in games.

Ever since I started taking my art GCSE which then progressed onto continuing the creative field of architecture at college and then to now CGI and VFX and university.

Whilst working in college within my TV & Film course I began to watch more 3D related works, seeing blender works from the likes of Ian Hubert kickstarted my interest and since then I have continued to show increased focus on different software's and artworks.

I did Photography (mostly photoshop) in secondary and moved onto Digital Media and Graphic Design in sixth form. I attended Solent's CGFX event in November of 2022 and started considering CGI & Visual Effects for university from then on. That's what I ended up applying for.

While trying to go for a military career, an injury caused me to be able to step back and look at things from another perspective. I refound my interest in 3D animation from childhood and various physical crafts which helped remind me id prefer a more creative and free career path.

I first thought I'd be an animator. After studying 3D animation I moved to VFX, and now to CGI Character/Creature work. I love all things surreal and macabre but have a soft spot for childish whimsy. I first realized that I want to be part of the media and entertainment industry when my school sculpture teacher showed me other artist's works.

I've always enjoyed drawing and being creative in everything I do. A few months ago, I started self-studying 3D and it blew my mind. Since then, I've put a lot of effort into gaining a good general knowledge. Now, I've started studying CGI and Visual Effects at Solent University to get a head start in the industry.

I have always aspired to be creative, all my life I have been bringing imagination to life. 5 years ago I moved to UK in pursuit of education, where I realised that media and entertainment industry is the future for me.
