Round of applause for our sponsors

After graduate college as communication major, I was working in trading company in LA. Then I had some spare time after work to think about what I wanted to do next. To be honest I was not satisfied with my work at all. I was thankful but I was not happy. Luckily, I started meeting creative people in LA and it reminded me of the joy I used to have to do creative stuff when I was growing up.

I like watching movies since I was a child. I always wondered how they make a movie after watching a movie. One day I found a person's name from my country in the marvel movie end roll and after seeing that I thought that it will be great if my name is also shown in the end roll. So I decided to learn CGI.

I have already worked in TV media for 10 years as a producer, not as a creator. I was always eager to learn motion graphics in 3D field. Last year, I realized that I would like to be in motiongraphics.

I am a Compositor currently residing in Vancouver, BC, with over 4 years of combined international work experience in the VFX, film, and TV commercial industries. I specialize in 2D/3D Compositing, Multipass Compositing, Paint, Roto, BG Prep, and Keying.

I have always been interested in watching movies, especially the Sci-Fi genre. I loved the CGI and effects in movies such as Star-Trek or Star Wars to name a few. My interest to actually try to make it as a career came not so long ago when I decided to have a career break, from working in offices as an administrator. Once I had a career break I started to dabble with Houdini and After effects, and I got really hooked into these programs so my interest in the VFX field grew stronger from there.

I realized I wanted to work in this industry in high school. I started with making small videos for class projects and school clubs projects. I'm currently in college and learning 3D by myself from online resources.

When I was high school student, I realized it.

I have always had a craving to do something creative with my life. Ever since I was a toddler, I dabbled in multiple creative mediums, since I was not very good with sports. As I got into my teenage years, I experimented with music, skateboarding, drawing, sculpting, and a variety of other platforms of expression. Nothing ever really lasted or stuck with me, but I always knew that I wanted to have a career as some form of artist in the creative industry.

I always liked drawing when I was younger and I actually realised and decided to work in the creative industry when I was in the second year of my university majoring visual effects and concept design. I enjoyed doing 3D modelling and sculpting so in the third year which was my final year, I started focusing on characters to be a character artist.

When I was moved by watching anime or playing games when I was a child I would like to be able to provide them

I became interested in filmmaking when I was a student.

When I was graduated from Undergraduate, I realized the most things I ever wanted to do is to be a creator at CG then active at Game Industries. And now is the time.

After spending several years working in the IT field.

I've always had a passion for art. It runs in my family and I've been supported in pursuing my passions by my family too.

Although I always liked drawing and love animations since I was a child, I realized I wanted to became an animator when my hobby of animating became more popular on social media and i became more serious about doing as a career, and now I work hard to learn more everyday! The more I learn, the more I love it!

I have worked in the games industry since 2016, first at Bethesda Softworks (QA Tester, Certification) then Sledgehammer Games embedded on the Tools Engineering team. I have shipped many AAA titles throughout the last 7 years including DOOM (2016), Dishonored 2, Prey, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. After working closely with creative teams through my work on Tools at Sledgehammer, I decided I would try my hand at 3D modelling and found I loved it.

I work in the environment with lots of creativity. The realization was a long time ago.
