Infinity Gauntlet

Inspired by Avengers: Infinity War, I decided to make the Infinity Gauntlet, which is by far one of my Favourite Projects that I have ever Worked on. I had a bit Road Blocks with it, But still managed to get pass them.

One of the Main Problems I was having with this was getting the Curved Shapes right. This Object had a lot of Curved Shapes layered on each other. To tackle this, I first modelled all the Curving Geometry flat(without any extrusions) then, with the Base Mesh that I had made, Shrinkwraped them onto the Base Mesh and got the Curve that I needed. After that I easily added the Extrusions and got the desired result!

This Post was originally posted to Instagram, where I explained How I added small details without affecting the Good Curvature and Flow of the Main body of the Gauntlet.
Also, In the early stages of the Model, Modeling in SubD (Triple Edging) would have easily broke my Model. Since I hadnt got the Shapes and Proportions right, I decided to use Creasing, which helped me a lot in the early stages as how would it look with Triple Edging Roughly

The Infinity Stones were another aspect which really made me Stuck.  This is My First Attempt at making a Infinity Stones, I was winging it without any references, that is why It OBIVIOUSLY had to failed!
(Even though the Sculpting wasn't good in this, I tested some Procedural Materials in Blender, which resulted in some Good Results in My Opinion!)

After getting some References I was able to get to this. Much better than the Previous One. I blocked out the Basic Shapes of the Stones, Sculpted the Medium Details and Then Using the Displace Modifier, added some Procedural Fine Details.

Final Render!

Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

So wanting to improve my Modeling Skills, I decided to make the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Starting with a simple Cube, I blocked out the Basic Shapes, and tried to stay low poly as possible and only added the Details until  the Proportions and the Base Mesh were Correct.

Good Base Meshes + Shrinkwrap Modifier =  Success with High Poly Details!

So with this Project, I wanted to create a Production-Ready Asset, with Good Topology, UVs and Hierarchy. Also to challenge myself even further, I decided that I will create this Project in 22 days, for Modeling, UVs and everything.

This really helped me to Increase My Efficiency and My Knowledge.

Final Body + Tires Wireframe

A Cool Render!

Also, I did some Camera Animation with it!

The Phoenix

In Ancient Greek folklore, The Phoenix is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again.
The Idea for this Project was to Create a World War 2 Plane, Similar to The Phoenix, which has a Long Life and Cool Wings!

A Render that I made as a Wallpaper for my Phone

The Topology of the Model is optimized for Films and VFX, where the Topology is evenly distributed through out the Model

UVs of the Plane. I tried to keep the Texel Density same across the Whole Model

The Whole Plane is divided into Three Groups: C_Grp, R_Grp, L_Grp, representing the Location of the Objects in which they Belong. All the Objects in the Scene are Organized properly in a Hierarchy.

Other Small Projects that I worked on

Nerf : Doomlands 2169 - VIGILANCE

So with this Project I wanted to make this Nerf Axe, look old and Rustic(Since it has been discontinued by the Nerf Series)

The Concept is by Matty Devin Brown, who is the designer of all the Nerf:Doomlands 2169 Items: https://www.artstation.com/mattydevinbrown

The Lego Batman

The Lego Batman was an Amazing Project to work on. Modeling the Cloth and making it look like its actually flowing(in Air) was one of the difficult aspects of this Project

WIP Of  My Current Project that I am Working on

I am currently making a Custom Bike made by WrenchMonkees, It is based off of the Yamaha XJR 1300.

Reference that I have collected for the Project

Dividing such a Project into Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Shapes helps in keeping you the Big Vision of the Project, and not get bogged down in the Small Details.

One of the Early WIPS of the Project. Till now the Gas Tank has been a Problem. I am going back and forth with it. Also the Engine will be one of the Most Complex Objects that I have ever worked on!
