FINAL UPDATE

Hey,  So finally after a lot of struggle and issues I'm happy to upload my final entry. I had an amazing experience especially working with Unreal Engine. I just started learning this particular software 2 weeks ago and really happy to create my first environment. Also Blender has been huge support for modelling the buildings and creating some plants.

The only asset used in the environment was the Astronaut from Sketchfab, as I wanted to showcase there are travellers on this planet from somewhere else.

This challenge helped me to push myself to learn new software and also learn some new fundamentals about how to make a good environment. I will learn much more and will try to give even better performance in the next Rookie Contest. I would also like to thank The Rookie Awards for hosting this particular contest. 

I forgot to update this that I made this stone in order to populate the scene a bit more. This was a simple mesh sculpted in Blender. I took the reference for this mesh from https://www.artstation.com/artwork/0Xzo5w.

Also I will be using this Astronaut mesh from Sketchfab.

I created this simple buildings with the help of concept art of Sung Choi ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzv31O ) from ArtStation. I really loved this design and wanted to showcase that there is some life on this planet.

Hey my name is Aniket Kamble and I'm very excited to take part in the Rookie Awards. My project is titled as "The Wanderer"  where two people wander around the galaxy to find new planets. Currently I don't have any fixed concept art on how my project is going to look like but I will be taking some ideas and inspiration from ArtStation.
