After finishing with my blockout, I created a terrain in unity and adapted it to place my assets and get an idea of how it would look.
Then I decided to Photoshop two tileable textures for the terrain, one that simulated grass and foliage and the other dirt. With these ready-made textures, I began to paint the terrain obtaining this result.

Hello again! Today I'm going to show you the blocking of my enviroment. For doing it I used 3DS Max.

This is my first time participating in a The Rookies contest (and actually doing a 3D enviroment as well). My world is based on the concept of artist Katerina Rooikat.
These are some of the references that I have been collecting to help me and inspire me to create my environment.
