Integration

Hi, thank you for checking out my entry. This is a school project where I have to integrate a 3D model into a backplate. For the model, I decided to model a battle staff inspired from the Daedric staff from The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.

For the texturing, I did it in substance painter. It was quite a challenge for me as it was my first time using it and I had to learn it all on my own. But in the end, the result turned out better than i thought and I had fun texturing it.

I decide to add bumps and scratches to the model as i wanted to give the feeling that this weapon had been through  battles and wars. I also added some rust to the model to emphasise the rough conditions it had been through as it would have to had been exposed to the elements during battles

i decided to add some wear and tear and smudges to the areas where it is commonly in contact with the human hand. This is due to the constant friction between the two surfaces.
