My name is Lakin, and I'm 19 years old and a aspiring concept artist hoping to work in the video game industry, and starting university this September. Last year I participated in the Rookies Awards 2019, after the feedback I received, I focused on improving my art and concept art process over the last year.

Character Designs and Turnarounds
Character exploration and turnaround sheets. I start my ideas/iterations in a sketchbook first before I import them into Photoshop to colour, or to further develop the design.
Environment Designs
During the exploration stage, I used a sketchbook and pen to create thumbnails and ideas, then I would import them directly into Photoshop to colour over.
Character Design Challenges
To practice character designing, I participated in several challenges where i could experiment with my design process and gain feedback on my work.
Video Game Reboot Project
For fun I enjoy redesigning games I personally enjoy. It allows me to design subjects under a specific art direction or brief that I either create myself or follow a existing one.
