Trailer

In Liff, you play as a god of life and nature with the power to sculp the environment around him. When you wake to watch over the land you find a strange dark matter invading it and resisting your power. This dark matter represents corruption and wickedness. Its geometric and dark design is in opposition with the colorful and natural shapes of the environment. This world is populated by humans but they seemed to be captured in the dark matter, lifeless. The player has to free this world from corruption, by using his powers to heal nature and absorbs corruption cores.

The whole environment is structured around nature, and humans living in harmony with it.

Liff is a game about letting the player express himself, he can draw and erase absolutely everything in the world. The artistic direction is a direct reference to impressionists paintings with nods to Monet and Van Gogh paintings. This is designed to be a game the player can enjoy at his own pace without pressure, enjoying it like you would enjoy a painting in a museum. We believe it can motivate player to look farther and document themselves on impressionism, but also to become a creator himself.
