Illustrations - Caitlin Mercer

For this series I had to create three consistent designs for a poster project at university, having the freedom to create any theme and style I started with some sketches. I wanted them the convey a story, "Explore the Unknown"  so each illustration delve deeper into an unknown planet.

Another project for university, to determine an artists design language and create a project of any creative media using a similar design language. I wanted to explore this as series of illustrations using characters from the popular tv/book series by George R.R. Martin. 

A personal project to morph my cat into a renaissance style painting 

I had to recreate an object of my choice, a cast iron cat. While the colours weren't present on the object i took a creative risk which paid off.
