Beyla
For my Advanced Term project at Think Tank Training Centre, I have chosen an extraordinary concept: Beyla, the Dark Elf from God of War, inspired by the brilliant artistry of Yefim Kligerman, Raf Grasetti, and Bjorn Hurri.
First, I began my project by scheduling the process and gathering reference images to guide my work.
The first step was to start sculpting my character in ZBrush. I began by blocking out the entire body, then moved on to the horn, eyes, nails, and clothing. Lastly, I added the spear and accessories. Throughout the process, I continually refined the shapes and details.
After completing all the UDIMs, I created the skin details using Texturing XYZ. All textures were developed in Mari using its node-based workflow, and the rendering was done with V-Ray in Maya.
