The Intersection of Architecture, Art and Activity.

by STARDOSKI on 23 May 2024 for Rookie Awards 2024

Self taught through passion for a variety of mediums, it is my mission to bridge unique creative self expression with architectural visualization in order to design and visualize spaces that represent the people that need them.

Every room should have a character, feel personal and intimate. Where this is most evident is the room where we ready for, and wash away the world. This space of clean respite is the heart of any dwelling and must reflect those individuals who inhabit it. The shower and bath are arguably the most important aspects of any way of life.

A shower and bath inform the identity of a dwelling. I worked from the master bathroom outward, allowing the design fundamentals of this pivotal space to shape the personality and the atmosphere of the home. Organic shapes guide the flow of life, and the softness of natural stone, wood, sky and lighting compliment the cool hardness of contemporary, industrial textures of concrete and steel. All coalescing into a unique, beautiful, and functional space.

03

The perfect compliment to a personal place of rest, is an open space for community activity. My journey into archviz has stemmed in large part from my passion for skateboarding. Many of my early projects had been personal skatepark design concepts. It is a dream to design and visualize skateparks professionally. The following are personal designs based on a hypothetical rework of an existing space in my community.

Architectural visualization is more than a means to an ends for residential and commercial development. As an artist I have the tools to identify and express the emotions and soul that any room has the potential for. Space is for the living, the living create art, and art decorates the space.

All projects rendered using Blender 3D, post processing in Photoshop and Krita, and video editing was done in Davinci Resolve.
